
rAbbiT cHase is waiting for its new file format, ".wr3", the wHiteRabbiT3D file format.
Under current development, this format has to reach some efficient goals like detailed materials, skinning information, sub-objects partitions, keyframes position/orientation/matrix for bones and meshes, shapes, lights, physic material properties, meshes informations (vertex positions, normals, tangents, binormals, texcoords, colors, weights, boneIDs, ... & faces correspondences with sub materials group), ..., in binary mode, readable by BinaryReaders objects to keep a maximum compatibility and simplicity.
Actualy the structure is not definitive but will certainly work with chunks and ID flags. A 3dStudio Max 9 plugin "wHiteRabbiTexporter3DS.dle" is already functionnal for a part of goals described previously.
This plugin export will be free distribuated with a short documentation, coming soon...
